Locate proper upgrade media |

Choose 32-Bit Windows 7 Install to Upgrade 32-Bit Windows Vista

Choose 64-Bit Windows 7 Install to Upgrade 64-Bit Windows Vista

Insert the upgrade media |
| 3. |
Run setup.exe
from the media (continue when prompted) |
| 4. |
Select "Install Now"

| 5. |
Select "Go online to get
the latest updates for installation (recommended)" |
| 6. |
Choose the same SKU
as the current Windows Vista install |
| 7. |
Accept the License Terms by
clicking ( ) on the "I accept the license terms"

Select "Upgrade"
when "Which type of installation do you want?" is asked |
| 9. |
Windows 7 upgrade
compatibility check will run |

| a. |
Remove any programs that are blocking upgrade and retry the
upgrade |

NOTE: For best results at least 16 gigabytes
(GB) of free disk space must be available before installing. Installing windows with minimal disk space
available can reduce performance. Try using Disk cleanup, uninstalling old programs, or moving files
to another location. |

Click "Next" |

Upgrade will begin |

| a. |
DO NOT remove the upgrade media until the upgrade is complete
|
| b. |
Wait until the entire process takes place |
|
| 11. |
Type your "Windows Product
Key" & proceed further |
| 12. |
Select "Use recommended
settings" |
| 13. |
Review your "Time & Date"
settings |
| 14. |
Incase of Notebooks with Wireless
Network, you could either choose your wireless network & click on "Next" or click on
"Skip" if you don’t know your wireless network details. |
| 15. |
Select your computer’s
current location [Home network, Work network or Public network |
| 16. |
Windows will then finalize your
settings & your Windows logon screen will appear where you could choose the user you want to login. |
| 17. |
Check the Windows
Experience Index from the Computer Properties |

Run the assessment if no score is present i.e. click on "system
rating is not available" & then select “Rate this computer” |
